Mount Kenya Rock Climbing
7 days Mount Kenya Rock Climbing Batian Peak
7-day Mount Kenya technical climb targets the main peaks, Batian (5,199m) and Nelion (5,188m), requiring significant rock-climbing skills (multi-pitch, ropes) and excellent fitness for high altitude, typically involving routes like the Southeast Face from Austrian Hut after acclimatizing via Sirimon/Chogoria routes.
Expect days trekking to high camps (Shipton, Austrian Hut), a dedicated summit day (often 8-12 hrs round trip from Austrian Hut), and a long descent, with itineraries built for acclimatization and weather contingency, often using guides and porters.
We offer private guided ascents of Batian Peak in 7 Days mount kenya batian technical climbing, the true summit of the spectacular Mount Kenya. After the trek in and acclimatization, the technical climb is completed in one long day as a series of up to 21 pitches.

Standing as the highest among Kenya’s mountains, Mount Kenya ascends slightly beyond 5,199 meters (17,000 feet) and claims the position of the second-highest peak in Africa.
The massif is dominated by two principal summits: Batian and Nelion.
