6 Days Loita Walking Safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Maji Moto

Pick up from Nairobi and drive via Kijabe escarpment with a stopover at the great rift valley view point. Proceed down the valley driving through Masai land to Maji Moto campsite arriving in the afternoon. After lunch, visit the Masai village, the hot springs and the up the hill for sunset view point before returning to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

6 Days Loita Hills Trekking

Day 2:  Maji Moto to Letukunyi and onto Morinjo Campsite.

Early breakfast, and after leave the campsite to Letukunyi; the walk will take 6hrs through the scattered bushes where you meet the Masai community at their traditional daily activities as the walk is enjoyable before the sun is too hot until lunch time. After lunch, We take an 1 hour transfer pass Narosora town to buy food stuff that might be out of stock and then proceed to Morinjo campsite for dinner and overnight at Morinjo campsite.

Day 3: Hike from Morinjo to Olasur River

After breakfast, the hike start passing through the remaining rain forest habitat for most wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, bamboon, Colobus Monkeys other animals and birds species as well as passes the Masai villages to reach Olasur River campsite arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight. (6 hrs walk).

Day 4: Hike to the Water falls and overnight at Olasur River

Today after breakfast, hike through the forest dominated by wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, baboons, Colobus Monkeys other animals and birds species on the way to one of the largest water falls in Masai land and back to the Olasur River campsite in the late afternoon. Rest the rest of the day before dinner and overnight.

6 Days Loita Hills Trekking

Day 5: Hike Olasur River, Breathtaking Scenery and onto the Lebitro River campsite.

After breakfast, hike continue through the forest and passing different vegetation landscape with different hills view point and as far as Lake Natron and the active volcano mountain in Tanzania, Ol Doinyo Lengai, to arrive Lebitro River campsite for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Hike Ngurumani Escarpment, Lake Magadi and drive to Nairobi.

After breakfast, the hike proceed through the Acacia woodland in a hot temperature down the Ngurumani escarpment to the town where you meet the transfer vehicle back to Nairobi passing through lake Magadi where you can spot some alkaline water birds species including flamingoes.
